MATTHIEU STEFANELLI

Chroma is the first monographic CD by young pianist and composer Matthieu Stefanelli, a portrait of this musician who interprets his own works.

 

Entered at the age of sixteen at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in piano class with Jacques Rouvier, Prisca Benoit and Bruno Rigutto, he also studied musical analysis, chamber music, conducting ( with Philippe Ferro), and also orchestration will at the CRR de Paris with Alain Louvier and then Anthony Girard. Matthieu Stefanelli performs his Chroma concerto himself, which adds to the interest that the piece can arouse.

Premier disque monographique du pianiste et compositeur Matthieu Stefanelli, Chroma dresse un portrait de ce musicien interprète de ses propres œuvres.

Entré à l’âge de seize ans au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris en classe de piano chez Jacques Rouvier, Prisca Benoit et Bruno Rigutto, il a également étudié l’analyse musicale, la musique de chambre, la direction d’orchestre (avec Philippe Ferro). L’orchestration, cela sera au CRR de Paris auprès d’Alain Louvier puis d’Anthony Girard. Matthieu Stefanelli interprète lui-même son concerto Chroma, ce qui ajoute encore à l’intérêt que peut susciter la pièce.
